Khanh Thuan commune has a large geographical area, with 15 hamlets, mostly located in forested areas. People still face many difficulties in transportation, especially in accessing administrative services for the elderly, disabled, and other vulnerable groups. To shorten the time for processing administrative procedures, reduce travel time, costs, and effort for citizens and businesses, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune have directed specialized departments to research and develop administrative reform models suitable to the local reality.

When receiving a call from a citizen, the civil servant at the One-Stop Service Center will forward it to the person in charge of the relevant field for guidance and answers.

Mr. Pham Quoc Thien, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: “The Commune People's Committee has created a hotline for administrative reform through the phone number of the Commune One-Stop Service Department, which is 0290.3980.279, and established a Zalo account to support people in accessing and resolving administrative procedures. Accordingly, when people have questions about administrative procedures, they will contact the One-Stop Service Department's hotline or access the Zalo account. The One-Stop Service Department will receive the request and forward it to the relevant officials and civil servants in the field where people need support and advice. The officials and civil servants in that field will receive, answer, and resolve the questions raised by the people, guiding them on the procedures, required documents, and processing time. This facilitates the resolution of administrative procedures for people and businesses, allowing them to complete the process in just one visit to the Commune People's Committee.”

“For organizations and individuals who need to handle administrative procedures online without going to the commune People's Committee office, they can call the Hotline number 0290.3980.279 or connect via Zalo. This Zalo account is also connected to commune officials and staff, and officials in that field will directly advise on the relevant issue. Afterwards, officials and staff at the one-stop service department will check the application documents, guide registration through the National Public Service Portal, send interactive forms via Zalo for individuals and organizations to supplement missing documents; and also propose solutions to the leadership in a timely manner and resolve the issue before people come to receive the results, or they can suggest sending the results to people via public postal services,” Mr. Thien added.
