On the evening of July 21, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Phuong Tuan - director of Khatoco Khanh Hoa Club - said that Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) is waiting for a response from the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province on whether or not to allow Khatoco to terminate the operation of this club.
According to Khatoco, in April 2025, conducting the audit of the local budget and the settlement of the local budget for 2024 of Khanh Hoa province, the audit team of the State Audit Office of Region VIII prepared the audit report of the separate financial statements at Khanh Viet Corporation - One Member LLC and the audit report of the consolidated financial statements at Khanh Viet Corporation - One Member LLC.
The audit team assessed that the policy of assigning Khanh Viet Corporation to carry out relevant procedures to take over and organize the management of Khanh Hoa Football Club, and the parent company - Khanh Viet Corporation to establish a dependent accounting unit of Khanh Hoa Football Club outside the main business line is not in compliance with the Prime Minister 's direction and direction in Clause 3, Article 1 of Decision No. 360/QD-TTg dated March 17, 2022.
At the same time, it is not in accordance with Clause 10, Article 4, Clause 1, Article 44 of the 2020 Enterprise Law; according to Clause 1, Article 7, Appendix to the Professional Football Regulations (amended and supplemented in 2021) approved under Decision No. 76/QD-TCTDTT dated January 21, 2022 of the Department of Physical Training and Sports .
This content is also not included in the restructuring project of Khanh Viet Corporation's state-owned enterprise in the period of 2021 - 2025, not ensuring regulations, and the loss-making business results have greatly affected the overall efficiency of the enterprise's production and business activities.
On this basis, Khanh Viet Corporation proposed that the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province direct the termination of the operation of Khanh Hoa Football Club - a branch of Khanh Viet Corporation, socialize the football club's activities, and select another sponsor to promptly take over the team to participate in the new season of 2025 - 2026.
Previously, in August 2024, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee decided on the operation plan of Khanh Hoa Club.
Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) is the unit that takes over and manages this team to prepare for the National First Division competition in the 2024 - 2025 season.
