Khatoco honors and shows gratitude to workers

On October 4, Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) organized a program to honor and show gratitude to employees on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of its establishment (October 4, 1983 - October 4, 2025). Here, the Board of Directors of Khatoco respectfully presented the officers and employees with badges "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation" to honor the contributions of employees to the strong development of Khatoco.

Solidarity creates strength for Khatoco

During the 42-year journey of building and developing Khatoco to what it is today, Mr. Duong Sang - an employee of Khanh Viet Corporation's Office has been with the company for 40 years. Receiving the 40-year badge "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation", Mr. Sang recalled the early days of working at the unit, when he was only 18 years old. At that time, at the tobacco factory where he worked, the machinery was rudimentary, the work from roasting the kiln, steaming the fibers to sawing tobacco... was full of hardship, sweat soaked the back of the shirt. But that hardship was shared by the love of colleagues, officers and workers who loved and cared for each other like flesh and blood in a big family. “Over the past 40 years, I have experienced many jobs and positions, but there is one value that I feel has never changed, which is the spirit of solidarity and unity that generations of leaders and employees of Khatoco have cultivated to create the strength to make Khatoco develop strongly as it is today,” Mr. Sang shared.

At the program to honor and show gratitude to employees, Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh Vu - an employee of Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory was honored to receive the 35-year badge "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation". Mr. Vu still remembers clearly the difficult early days of the factory in Binh Tan, then the times when the factory suffered heavy damage due to the consequences of storm No. 12 in 2017, to the days when he had to work in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, all activities were seriously affected by the highest level of epidemic prevention and control requirements... Then he was extremely happy when the new, large-scale, modern factory was built in Trang E Industrial Cluster. Having worked for many years at the factory, Mr. Vu feels more clearly the tradition of solidarity, will and determination to overcome difficulties of the leadership and employees of the factory in particular, and Khatoco in general. Khatoco has steadily overcome difficult periods from market mechanisms, economic crises to natural disasters, epidemics... to achieve the proud achievements of today.

At the program to honor and show gratitude to employees on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Khanh Viet Corporation's founding, in addition to Mr. Sang and Mr. Vu, there were 2 other individuals who were personally awarded 35-year badges by Khatoco leaders; 13 individuals received 30-year badges; 11 individuals received 25-year badges; 105 individuals received 20-year badges "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation". The badges are a worthy honor and reward for the efforts and contributions of employees at factories, enterprises, and member units of Khatoco in the 42-year journey of building and developing.

Notably, in 2024, Khatoco is honored to be ranked 34th in the Top 50 enterprises with the largest budget contributions in Vietnam with nearly 4,100 billion VND. These impressive numbers are the crystallization of the proactive - creative - effective spirit and constant efforts of the Board of Directors and employees of Khatoco.
