Reward for young woman who found lost property and returned it to the police to return it to its owner

A 20-year-old girl in Dong Thap picked up a stack of money worth over 17 million VND while walking on the street. She quickly brought it to the commune police station to find the person who lost it so she could return it.

On October 21, the People's Committee of Phu Huu commune ( Dong Thap province) unexpectedly awarded a certificate of merit to Pham Nguyen Anh Thu (born 2005, residing in Tan An hamlet, Phu Huu commune) for her beautiful act of picking up lost property and returning it to its owner.

Leaders of People's Committee and Police of Phu Huu commune awarded a certificate of merit to Pham Nguyen Anh Thu.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 20, Thu, while walking on the road in Tan An hamlet, picked up a transparent nylon bag containing a bundle of money in various denominations. Thu immediately brought it to the commune police station to return it to the person who lost it.

Through inspection, it was determined that the amount of money inside was over 17 million VND, and there were no other related documents.

Phu Huu Commune Police are verifying and finding the person who dropped it to return it. Thu's action is a beautiful gesture.
