The website was built in about 6 months, with the participation of reporters from Nhan Dan Newspaper and the coordination of the Vietnam Press Museum, the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda, the National Archives Center, museums, press and media centers, and especially central and local press agencies nationwide.

Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh said that the website was built very elaborately, with a lot of data.

“Up to now, we still do not have a database of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism. The data is all in separate publications. For the first time, we have compiled very detailed statistics, from the journey of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism throughout a century and divided into each period, life stories, career stories, portraits of famous journalists, to the younger generation. The section 'New Era Journalism' with many elaborate articles has been developed by reporters over the past 6 months" - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh emphasized.

According to Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh, the site is an unprecedented online archive of press data nationwide.

The site has the following sub-sections: “News”, “Journey of a Century”, “Life and Career Stories”, “New Era Journalism”, “Press Agencies”, “Journalist Handbook”, “Questions and Answers”.

The column “Journey of a Century” provides readers with comprehensive information about the birth and development of Vietnamese journalism over the past century, from the first secretly published revolutionary newspapers to the brilliant stages of development, the press accompanying the national liberation revolution, building socialism and advancing to a new era.

In this section, in addition to articles containing both general and specific, complete and accurate documentary values about the stages of journalism, newspapers, stories of writing, printing and publishing newspapers through the ages, there is also an interactive Timeline section summarizing the entire journey of birth and development of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism over the past 100 years.

The column “Life and career stories” honors journalists in historical periods, from revolutionary journalists - the patriots who laid the foundation for journalism in the early days to young reporters in the new era today. Although they are just fragments, the stories about journalism life, professional memories recorded and shared are historical fragments, providing special professional knowledge for young journalists today.

In “Life and Career Stories”, readers can listen to many stories about the careers of journalists from many generations, from wartime journalism stories of war correspondents, to working during epidemics, natural disasters, hot spots, or journalism amid the effects of artificial intelligence… Portraits of many journalists from many generations are drawn in this column, not through achievements or honors, but through experiences that not every journalist can easily have in life.

The “New Era Journalism” column is an engaging column, presenting success stories, experiences, and sharing the difficulties and challenges of newsrooms in the digital age. Digital transformation, platform diversification, and increased interaction, access, and outreach to readers are key factors. The press needs to maintain its core values while innovating to meet the diverse information needs of the public.

The "Press agencies" section contains a huge amount of data, gathering data from nearly 200 press agencies, television and radio stations nationwide, and the central and local press system.

Before April 2025, the country had 63 local press agencies and a system of television and radio stations in 63 provinces and cities, and dozens of central press agencies, newspapers and magazines of ministries, departments, branches and associations. The process of merging press agencies poses difficulties but is also an opportunity for the press to overcome challenges, forcing it to filter to develop and fulfill its role and mission.

This is also a special section, which according to Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh, is very difficult to find anywhere. “In the past, in the process of reorganization and streamlining, many press agencies have stopped operating, but we still put it here as a data warehouse for readers to look up,” said the Editor-in-Chief.

The content of each press agency is fully detailed, from its history, development through each stage, portraits of famous journalists, to awards... and will continue to be updated.

The “Journalist Handbook” section provides legal documents and regulations related to journalism activities; shares knowledge, skills, and work experience; disseminates modern journalism tools and applications...

In addition, the “Q&A” section provides important, easy-to-understand and concise knowledge about the history of the formation and development of Vietnamese journalism over the past 100 years. This is not only a place to answer frequently asked questions, but also contributes to fostering understanding and arousing pride in the tradition of revolutionary journalism for the public, especially the younger generation.

The interface of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press website is invested in a lively, easy-to-use design with many visual highlights, emphasizing interactivity, demonstrating the innovative spirit of modern journalism, giving readers a profound, attractive and convenient experience in searching for and accessing information.

Along with marking the 100-year journey of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, the site is also a rich, accessible online resource serving domestic and international readers, contributing to spreading historical values and orienting the development of journalism in the digital age.
