On July 9, at Phu Bai International Airport (Hue City), Vietnam Airlines coordinated with the Hue City People's Committee to organize an event to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Vietnam Tourism and welcome the 350 millionth passenger of Vietnam Airlines. This is a special milestone in the 30-year journey of formation and development.

According to the Hue City People's Committee, the 350 millionth passenger traveled on flight VN1541 from Hanoi to Hue, landing at 9:00 a.m. this morning, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam Tourism Industry's tradition day and welcoming the National Tourism Year 2025.
Upon landing at the airport, the flight was greeted with a water cannon salute, an international ritual reserved for special aviation events.
At the ceremony, the 350 millionth passenger was presented with a platinum Golden Lotus card, 2 domestic business class round-trip tickets and souvenirs by the organizers.
Passengers on the flight enjoyed being greeted with a special ceremony.

The ten lucky passengers from 349,999,995 to 350,000,005 were also given domestic round-trip economy class tickets by Vietnam Airlines leaders, and all passengers on the flight were given gifts with the Vietnam Airlines brand image and the strong Hue identity.
The organizers said that this is one of the key activities for the series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Airlines Corporation (1995 - 2025), while affirming the key role of Vietnam Airlines in connecting trade, tourism and regional development.
All passengers on the flight received meaningful Hue dishes from the organizers.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, the companionship of Vietnam Airlines will continue to open up new connecting spaces and effective flights, contributing to bringing Hue closer to the world.
At the event, Vietnam Airlines also coordinated with the Hue City People's Committee, the National Tourism Administration and the Hue City Department of Tourism to officially launch the program "Magical Hue Night - Discover to Love".
Accordingly, domestic and international tourists arriving in Hue on Vietnam Airlines’ night flights will have the opportunity to receive special offers such as up to 80% off accommodation costs or free first nights at some affiliated hotels in the program. This is a joint effort between Vietnam Airlines and Hue City to stimulate tourism while continuously improving the quality of experience for tourists.
