Neither MC Vu Manh Cuong nor his friends expected that one day White Rabbit would develop a passion for writing. This improbable idea was proven true at the book launch of "Love Without Fairy Tales" on the afternoon of October 19th in Ho Chi Minh City.

Runner-up Duong Cam Lynh: "Reading 'Love Without Fairy Tales ,' I felt comforted and healed."
Love is not a fairy tale; it's not a book that tells a glamorous love story, but rather a collection of honest, sometimes rough, sometimes hurtful moments, yet one that never makes people lose faith in love.
"This book isn't meant to tell fairy tales, but rather to use fairy tales as a reminder that, even when love is broken and incomplete, kindness and compassion still exist within each person. I didn't write to tell fairy tales. I wrote to remind us that: even when love is imperfect, kindness still exists all around us. I once lost faith, I once collapsed. But..." It is the helping hands in real life, the silent friends who give without expecting anything in return, that... "The hands that silently supported me when I thought I couldn't get back on my feet inspired me to write this book as a thank you," White Rabbit confided.
According to the author of "Love Without Fairy Tales" : "Donating all the revenue to shelters or calling for the sharing of supplies for those affected by floods and storms is my way of giving back to life, in the smallest way I can."
As the host of the book launch, MC and TV presenter Vu Manh Cuong couldn't hide his deep empathy for the work and its author: "I was impressed by 'Love Without Fairy Tales' not only because it's good, but also because it contains things I yearn for. I yearn to be clear-headed, to look at my life fairly, objectively, and meticulously. But I can't do that, sometimes I even get carried away by the characters I create. 'White Rabbit,' on the other hand, is both passionate and clear-headed, both cold and warm, both engaged and very objective. Clearly, she writes not only with the qualities of a writer but also with the mindset of a journalist. If there's a work that I can read, live, and learn from, 'Love Without Fairy Tales ' is a strong contender."

The book sales and auction of items at the book launch raised nearly 35 million VND, and the author, Thỏ Ngọc, donated all proceeds to charity.

Runner-up Duong Cam Lynh was moved, saying, "I see myself in every word of this book. There are pains that seem impossible to name, but when I read 'Love Without Fairy Tales ,' I feel lighter, comforted, and healed. This is a beautiful gift for women – not just on October 20th."
All proceeds from book sales and the auction of items at the book launch, totaling over 50 million VND, will be donated by the author, Thỏ Ngọc, to the Gò Vấp Center for Orphaned and Disabled Children (Ho Chi Minh City), Thanh Sơn Shelter (Thanh Sơn Pagoda, Khánh Hòa ), and people affected by storms and floods.
"I hope that the book 'Love Is Not a Fairy Tale' will become a small bridge, connecting heart to heart, so that anyone out there who is lost knows they are not alone. And, if it can connect other lost hearts with a glimmer of hope, then that would be the greatest gift I receive from writing," author White Rabbit.
