3 projects started at the ceremony, including: Belt road parallel to Provincial Road 942; Sam Mountain Cultural Park roundabout, "Bridge over Xang Canal" project; upgrading and expanding Huong Lo 11 (including the main route and branch route to Tan Lap commune center connecting with Provincial Road 945).

Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc said that the groundbreaking of these three projects is of great significance to An Giang province in connecting traffic infrastructure between regions, contributing to promoting the province's economic development and gradually improving people's lives.

Upon completion, the projects will facilitate the development of inter-regional transport, serving as a basis for connecting with the regional road system. Helping to transport goods, helping to develop the regional socio-economic situation between localities, especially contributing to preventing traffic congestion on major holidays. The project contributes to attracting tourists to the Bay Nui region, especially during the Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival. Most importantly, it is a condition to increase income and improve the quality of life for the people.

Comrade Ngo Cong Thuc praised the departments, branches, investors, local authorities, people, especially people affected by the project and related units, such as: Design consultants, supervision consultants, construction units... for actively supporting and performing well the investment preparation, site clearance, and completing necessary procedures so that the groundbreaking ceremony could take place on schedule.

In the coming time, he requested that departments, branches, People's Committees of communes and wards with projects and works passing through continue to actively support and create favorable conditions for investors and contractors to complete the works on schedule, ensure quality, and soon complete and put the works into operation and use.

Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Project Management Board Vo Chi Trung spoke at the ceremony.

Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Project Management Board Vo Chi Trung said that the belt road parallel to DT 942 has a total investment of 150 billion VND. The estimated price of package No. 26 for construction phase 1 is 93.5 billion VND. The scale of the package includes: 3.6 km route length; road surface construction, 1 bridge on the route, longitudinal and transverse drainage culverts, curbs, sidewalks and retaining walls. The winning bid price is 76.8 billion VND. Implementation time is 540 days.

The Sam Mountain Cultural Park roundabout, the "Bridge over Xang Canal" project has a total investment of 425 billion VND. The estimated price of the bridge over Xang Canal is 84.7 billion VND. The scale of the package includes: Bridge length 166m, design load HL93. Winning bid price is 74.2 billion VND. Implementation time is 460 days.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Dong - Director of Saigon branch - Thai Son Corporation, Ministry of National Defense (representing the contractors) briefly presented the construction plan and promised to complete the project.

The project to upgrade and expand Huong Lo 11 (including the main route and the branch route to the center of Tan Lap commune connecting with Provincial Road 945) has a total project investment of 222 billion VND. Estimated bid price: 178 billion VND. The scale of the bid package includes: Route length 22.08 km. The main route of Huong Lo 11 is 10.8 km long. The branch route connecting with Provincial Road 948 is 2.5 km long. The branch route to the center of Tan Lap commune connecting with Provincial Road 945 is 8.69 km long. The winning bid price is 157 billion VND. Implementation time is 360 days.
