Training on production and consumption techniques for youth in ethnic minority areas in An Giang

On the afternoon of September 27, at the hall of the People's Committee of Tri Ton commune, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized a training conference on production techniques, management skills, value chain management, and the ability to search and expand consumption markets for youth in ethnic minority areas in An Giang. Deputy Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Canh Chi Quan attended the conference.

Speaking at the opening of the training conference, Deputy Head of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Youth Affairs Department Canh Chi Quan said that in the context of a deeply integrated economy, the demand for agricultural development towards commodity, modernity, safety and sustainability is increasingly high, so equipping people, cooperatives and businesses with knowledge and skills is extremely necessary.

Mr. Canh Chi Quan, Deputy Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, delivered the opening speech at the conference.

At the training session, 150 union members and young people shared knowledge and practical experience in applying advanced production processes and farming techniques according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards towards organic agriculture, environmental protection and climate change adaptation; experience in management and production organization in small and medium-sized economic models; and management of agricultural product value chains towards sustainable linkages.
