Commencement of construction of rural traffic bridge on HN1 canal, Giang Thanh commune

On July 23, the People's Committee of Giang Thanh Commune (An Giang Province), the Liaison Committee of the Kien Giang Fellow Countrymen Association in Ho Chi Minh City and the Thuan Duyen Charity Group (Ho Chi Minh City) organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Thuan Duyen - Kien Giang Fellow Countrymen Bridge (183).

The old bridge over HN1 canal is degraded and unsafe for pedestrians.

The bridge spans the HN1 canal, Tan Khanh hamlet, Giang Thanh commune, is 21m long, 3.2m wide, the approach road is 6m long, the clearance height is 3m, and the load capacity is 3 tons. The total cost of the bridge construction is 275 million VND, sponsored by the Liaison Committee of the Kien Giang Association in Ho Chi Minh City and the Thuan Duyen Charity Group in Ho Chi Minh City.
