300 delegates are typical, advanced, outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, representing all levels of the Union and members from all over the country, enthusiastically attending the 95th Anniversary of the Union's Founding Day (October 14) and the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union.

The titles and awards given by the Party, the State and the Vietnam Farmers' Union further motivate outstanding farmers to strive and contribute more actively to emulation movements in the coming time.

Examples of efforts to overcome difficulties and become rich

With a passion for animal husbandry, Mr. Nguyen Duc Lu, a member of the Farmers' Association of Dao Thanh Ward ( Dong Thap ), borrowed money from the bank, actively learned advanced animal husbandry experiences through documents, the internet, and training courses organized by the Farmers' Association, and boldly invested more than 33 billion VND to build a closed chicken farm of 0.6 hectares. With 3 rows of modern barns, regularly raising 80,000 chickens per batch, the farm is operated by modern machinery using Dutch technology, with a fan system, cooling racks, automatic feeding troughs, and accurate food portion measurement. Thanks to the association with JAPFA Company (Indonesia) to sign a contract to purchase products, the output is guaranteed to be sustainable and the selling price is stable, with an average profit of 4 billion VND/year.

Responding to the emulation movements launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, many examples of dynamic farmers have emerged, daring to think, daring to do, and striving to overcome difficulties. Applying many creative ideas and measures to improve production efficiency and added value, the comprehensive farm model of aquaculture, medicinal plant cultivation, fruit trees, bird nest farming combined with community ecotourism of Mr. Dinh Van Thuan (Ninh Binh) brought in a profit of 4.2 billion VND last year.

Mr. Hoang Van Oanh (Tuyen Quang) invested in a farm system of more than 32 hectares, a closed barn system with more than 2,000 buffaloes, cows, horses, a warehouse to process and ferment agricultural by-products for animal feed, and cooperated with people to grow biomass corn on about 80 hectares.

The model of growing medicinal plants Xao Tam Phan brings Mr. Nguyen Van Khon (Dong Nai) an income of 3 billion VND/year. Mr. Dinh Ngoc Khuong (Ho Chi Minh City) has implemented a comprehensive farm model with an annual profit of more than 5.6 billion VND, creating regular jobs for 20 workers...

And there are many examples of outstanding farmers across the country who innovate their thinking, are passionate about research, have many initiatives and inventions, boldly apply science and technology to agricultural production, bringing high economic efficiency. Successful experiences show that members strive constantly, are open to learning, persistently apply scientific and technical advances, boldly innovate production methods, and are not afraid to face difficulties and challenges; Farmers' Associations at all levels and local authorities accompany and support in training, transfer of science and technology, consulting and guiding production and business, creating conditions for preferential loans, connecting product consumption, expanding markets...

Members who are good at production and business also share experiences, provide technical support and help disadvantaged households develop their economy, escape poverty, and devote much effort to social and charitable activities, thereby spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual love.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the association at all levels mobilized nearly 415,000 farmers to join cooperative groups and cooperatives; established 732 new cooperative groups and 187 agricultural cooperatives, reaching 73-88% of the yearly plan.

Many models of household economy, comprehensive farm economy, small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative groups linked in production, processing, and consumption of products according to the value chain contribute to the development of agriculture, rural economy, and new rural construction. In the first 6 months of 2025, the association at all levels mobilized nearly 415,000 farmers to join cooperative groups and cooperatives; 732 new cooperative groups and 187 agricultural cooperatives were established, reaching 73-88% of the yearly plan.

The work of the association and the farmers' movement is increasingly innovative and substantive, bringing practical benefits to members and farmers; listening to farmers to promptly resolve difficulties, strengthening consulting and service activities, supporting production and business development, improving life. Thereby, encouraging members and farmers to innovate, be creative, boldly change their thinking and working methods; actively participate in restructuring the agricultural sector, transforming thinking from agricultural production to agricultural economic development; strengthening cooperation, linking large-scale production, applying high technology, applying standard technical processes and production area codes, creating products with increasing value. Many farmers share that competition is not only a driving force for economic development but also an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the role and responsibility of members, contributing to building an increasingly strong association.

Strongly spread emulation movements

In the coming time, our country is facing great opportunities and challenges, with big, breakthrough goals. That reality requires farmers and associations at all levels to strongly change their thinking and actions, closely follow the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels and the Fatherland Front, closely coordinate with the government in implementing the association's political tasks, contribute to the socio-economic development of each locality, and meet the requirements of operating under the two-level local government model.

On behalf of the Executive Committee and the Emulation and Reward Council of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union Luong Quoc Doan launched the Emulation Movement in all levels of Farmers' Unions nationwide for the period 2025-2030 with the theme: "Promoting the tradition of solidarity, sense of responsibility, dynamism, creativity, overcoming difficulties and challenges, competing to successfully carry out political tasks, building a strong Union organization".

Based on the theme of the 6th Vietnam Farmers' Union Patriotic Emulation Congress, the directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 period and the actual situation of each locality, the Farmers' Union at all levels launched and strongly implemented a vibrant, widespread and practical emulation movement, calling on all cadres, members and farmers to continue the glorious revolutionary tradition of the peasant class and the Vietnam Farmers' Union over the past 95 years, promote the results and achievements, overcome difficulties and challenges to effectively organize and implement, contributing to the whole country's steady progress in the era of national development.

Farmers' Associations at all levels have launched and strongly implemented a vibrant, widespread, and practical emulation movement, calling on all cadres, members, and farmers to continue the glorious revolutionary tradition of the peasant class and the Vietnam Farmers' Association over the past 95 years, promoting the results and achievements, overcoming difficulties and challenges to effectively organize and implement, contributing to the whole country's steady progress in the era of national development.

First of all, continue to propagate, thoroughly grasp and effectively organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on emulation and rewards; imbue President Ho Chi Minh's patriotic emulation ideology, well implement Directive No. 41-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in emulation and rewards in the new situation", launch peak emulation campaigns to welcome the Congress of Farmers' Associations, Congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031; welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the term 2026-2031.

Continue to innovate leadership, content and methods of organizing and implementing emulation movements with specific products to successfully achieve breakthrough goals and tasks of the association and farmers' movement, focusing on effectively implementing the resolutions of the Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers, rural areas, and collective economic development; the resolutions of the Politburo on innovation and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Union to meet the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new period; breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; and private economic development.

Promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of the movement "Farmers produce and do business well, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably", the movement "Cadres, members, farmers actively participate in developing collective economy in agriculture", towards "Green rural livelihood - digital agriculture - value chain", "linking cooperatives, clusters, processing, market" according to the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations. Actively respond, propagate, mobilize members and farmers to participate in effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, campaigns launched by the Party, State, Prime Minister, Fatherland Front, Party committees, authorities at all levels in accordance with the tasks of the association and the farmers' movement in the new situation.

Along with that, compete to build a strong association and farmer class, with a team of association officials with sufficient capacity, qualities, creativity, loyalty, dedication, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility; civilized, professional farmers, digital farmers. Strengthen the organization, improve the quality of periodic dialogues with members and farmers; pay attention to implementing dialogues at the grassroots level, well organize the forums "Listening to farmers speak". Continue to innovate content and form, improve the quality of commendation work, ensure timeliness, accuracy, objectivity, fairness, transparency, right people, right work, replicate advanced models to contribute to strongly spreading patriotic emulation movements.
