Launching 3 urban projects worth more than 38,000 billion VND in Quang Tri

On the morning of October 2, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province coordinated with Sun Group to organize the launching ceremony of three mixed-use urban area projects with a total investment of more than VND 38,000 billion, marking an important start for a new development phase of the locality.

The three projects include Nhat Le coastal mixed-use urban area (VND 12,500 billion, 276 hectares), Dong Hoi central mixed-use urban area (VND 11,900 billion, 212 hectares) and Le Ky river west mixed-use urban area (VND 13,900 billion, 291 hectares). The total area of ​​the three projects is nearly 780 hectares, planned in the direction of modernity, ecology, international-class resorts, fully integrating education , health, sports, and culture.

Awarding investment decisions

In particular, out of the total of nearly 18,200 apartments of the projects, there are more than 7,100 social housing units (equivalent to 20% of the land fund as prescribed), to meet the housing needs of local people, contributing to harmonious and sustainable urban development.

Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong pledged that the government will accompany investors.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong affirmed that after the merger, Quang Tri entered a new phase with four strategic pillars: energy, logistics, tourism, green agriculture, aiming to become a unique tourist center and a fairly developed province of the country by 2045. Sun Group's simultaneous investment in three projects with a scale of more than 38,000 billion VND is a step to create a strong driving force for urban, tourism and socio-economic development. The provincial government is committed to accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for investors to implement effectively and on schedule, contributing to turning Quang Tri into a place worth visiting, worth living, civilized and modern.

Perspective of 3 projects

Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group, said that the three projects will create a large-scale urban and entertainment tourism ecosystem, contributing to turning Quang Tri into an international destination, an important link in the East-West and North-South economic corridors.

This event also has the meaning of welcoming the 1st Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee (term 2025-2030). In addition, it also marks a turning point in the journey to realize the aspiration to rise strongly, making Quang Tri a place worth visiting, worth living, civilized and modern.
