The 2023 program is expected to see changes to enhance consumer experience and promote online shopping among ASEAN countries.
ASEAN Online Shopping Day (AOSD) is the largest event in ASEAN in the field of e-commerce, with the aim of promoting e-commerce activities in particular and the digital transformation process of the region in general.
Accordingly, the ASEAN Online Shopping Day 2023 program will take place simultaneously in 10 ASEAN member countries from August 8, 2023 to August 22, 2023. During the program, consumers in the ASEAN region can shop on digital platforms of businesses and major domestic and foreign e-commerce platforms with incentives exclusively for the event.
In addition, in order to enhance consumer confidence in cross-border online transactions, Vietnam has implemented a cross-border online dispute resolution system.
After receiving consumer complaints related to cross-border transactions within the framework of the ASEAN Online Shopping Day Program, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) will use this system to exchange and work with focal points of ASEAN countries to resolve complaints.
Through this system, feedback and complaints between buyers and sellers are transparent, cross-border e-commerce activities will be more convenient. Thereby, organizations and agencies can also count and resolve problems in online transactions accurately and quickly.

Interested domestic enterprises can register to participate in the Program according to the instructions here. The registration period for enterprises to participate in the Program will start from July 15 to August 7, 2023.
