Mr. Phan Dai Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, said: To effectively implement the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month, the Provincial People's Committee has issued an implementation plan with the aim of creating a peak in communication activities to raise awareness of compliance with occupational safety and health laws among officials, civil servants, and workers. At the same time, it aims to promote specific solutions and action programs to improve working conditions, review and develop safe working procedures and measures, assess occupational safety and health risks; care for and improve the health of workers, and prevent occupational accidents and diseases at production facilities.

"The Provincial People's Committee requests that the activities of the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month be organized in a practical, effective, and focused manner; encouraging agencies, organizations, and production and business establishments to select prominent issues in their respective sectors as themes in their occupational safety and health action programs to achieve high effectiveness," Mr. Thang emphasized, adding that the Department of Internal Affairs is coordinating information and communication activities on occupational safety and health, such as seminars, publications, banners and slogans; and propaganda through various channels and media, from direct to mass media such as newspapers, radio and television, websites, social networks, district, commune, ward, and town radio stations, and businesses... Simultaneously, it will update and provide timely information on the causes of occupational accidents and incidents to prevent them and occupational diseases; and widely disseminate information on the rights, obligations, and responsibilities in occupational safety and health to businesses and workers.

In 2025, to minimize occupational accidents and diseases and ensure occupational safety and health, the Provincial People's Committee requests that departments, agencies, and units guide and inspect organizations and businesses to review and develop internal regulations, procedures, and safety measures in workshops, factories, and on machinery and equipment; promote the implementation of specific action programs on improving working conditions, building harmonious labor relations, reducing stress and fatigue in the workplace, and implementing welfare regimes for workers.

To ensure occupational safety and health, in recent times, units and businesses have paid special attention to improving working conditions and preventing occupational accidents and diseases. This result is thanks to the proactive implementation of safety measures by employees. In 2025, along with strengthening propaganda work, the company will coordinate with other units to organize consultations, training, and instruction on occupational safety and health, tailored to the characteristics and specifics of the company's industries and professions, with a focus on practical training and skills in assessing occupational safety and health risks. At the same time, it will equip employees with the knowledge to protect themselves during work.

Ensuring worker safety

According to assessments by relevant authorities, in 2024, working conditions at companies and production facilities improved significantly. The emulation movement to ensure occupational safety and health developed strongly at all levels of trade unions. Along with this, information and communication activities on occupational safety and health were intensified and spread widely, with many diverse and rich forms… contributing to raising awareness and consciousness of both workers and employers.
