The tournament took place at the end of November at Thu Duc Football Club's football field (Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) marking an important sporting event in the system of football tournaments for children in the city.

HFF Vice President Ngo Le Bang speaks at the press conference to announce the awards and sponsors.
At the press conference to introduce the event and announce the main sponsor on the morning of October 22, Mr. Ngo Le Bang, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF), said: "The Ho Chi Minh City VJSS Children's Football Tournament - Yamaha Cup 2025 is an event organized by the Vietnam - Japan Football Star Sports Training Center (VJSS) in coordination with HFF and the main sponsor Yamaha Motor Vietnam, to promote the football movement for children and teenagers in the city and at the same time create opportunities for football teams to show their talents and practice their skills."
The tournament is the result of a strategic partnership between VJSS - the largest Japanese-standard community football center in Vietnam - and Yamaha Motor Vietnam, a brand that has always been a pioneer in youth talent development activities.
Both units aim for the same goal: Building a generation of dynamic, healthy Vietnamese youth and nurturing football dreams right from school.

The tournament organizers and sponsors signed souvenirs
With the participation of 32 teams, this children's football playground promises to bring exciting matches and also create opportunities and conditions for exchange and connection between football teams in the city. 32 participating teams will be divided into 8 qualifying groups, competing in a round-robin in each group to calculate points.
After the group stage, teams will be ranked to compete in four divisions: Champion A, B, C and D. This model ensures that no team is eliminated early - every team has the opportunity to play to the final match and compete for the championship trophy in their division.

Representatives of the football team introduced the official competition uniforms.
In the context of limited football playgrounds for school-age children, the organization also lacks method and professionalism, the tournament brings about 100 matches, creating conditions for 480 "young" players to participate, increasing the level of physical training as well as football, determining the champion of primary school students who love football in Ho Chi Minh City.
The highlight of this event is that in addition to organizing concentrated activities, the Organizing Committee also carries out a campaign to directly support the 32 participating football teams. Within 4 weeks (from October 23 to November 23), the Organizing Committee will carry out the journey "Bringing the Yamaha Cup to each club", directly visiting, encouraging and giving gifts to football teams at schools, including official competition jerseys designed specifically for the tournament, standard balls suitable for training and competition, direct support for tournament participation costs and organizing professional training sessions.
This action strongly affirms the commitment of HFF, VJSS and Yamaha: Developing youth football is not only about organizing tournaments, but also about building a foundation, "inspiring and fueling passion" right from the first steps of the children.

Introducing the jersey and championship trophy
The teams with high rankings will receive valuable prizes, such as cups, gold medals and bonuses (VND 10 million for the Champion A champion; VND 6 million for the Champion B champion; VND 5 million and VND 4 million for the top two teams Champion C and D). The runner-up team and the two third-placed teams in each group will also receive corresponding awards in addition to individual titles such as Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper or Best Player...
VJSS and Yamaha also announced plans to organize the VJSS Can Tho Children's Tournament in late December 2025 with the participation of 24 football teams in Can Tho city. This is an important step, affirming the commitment to developing community football in the Mekong Delta provinces as well as nationwide.
