Attractive children's football tournament in Ho Chi Minh City: There are 4 champions

The VJSS Children's Football Tournament in Ho Chi Minh City - Yamaha Cup 2025 is organized in a unique format, where each team has the opportunity to play until the final match and compete for the championship trophy in their division.

The organizers "fueled" the team

On October 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, VJSS Football Center in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF) held a draw ceremony for the VJSS Children's Football Tournament - Yamaha Cup 2025. The event marked the official start of the most anticipated season of the year, gathering 32 excellent children's football teams across the city. Not only organizing concentrated activities, this year's season also brought a meaningful highlight: a campaign to directly support the 32 participating teams.

From October 23 to November 23, the organizing committee will carry out the journey of " bringing the tournament to each team" , by directly visiting, encouraging and giving gifts . At each school, the organizing committee will handing over official competition jerseys specially designed for the tournament , giving standard competition balls for the children to get acquainted with and practice , directly supporting each team with material costs for preparation , and organizing professional training sessions .

This action strongly affirms the commitment of HFF, VJSS and Yamaha in the goal of developing youth football, not only organizing tournaments, but also building a foundation , inspiring and fueling passion right from the first steps of the children.

No team had to stop early.

The tournament has 8 groups, each group consists of 4 teams . After the group stage, the teams will be classified to compete in 4 divisions: champion A, B, C and D. This model ensures that no team is eliminated early , as each team has the opportunity to play to the final match and compete for the championship trophy in their division.

Head of the tournament organizing committee - Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh shared : "This is the core point and pride of the tournament. Traditional children's tournaments often have a problem: weak teams often only play 1-2 group stage matches, lose, are eliminated and leave. This creates a feeling of disappointment and fear of losing for the children. The 4-class format of this tournament has solved that problem.

After the group stage, no team is eliminated. The 32 teams will be divided into 4 divisions of equal strength. One team may not be the strongest, but they will go to the final of division C or division D. This means that 100% of the participating teams will play many matches, and 100% of the players will have the opportunity to play a "final" match, to touch the cup. We do not want to create a tournament with only 1 champion and 31 losers. We want to create a festival where all the players are champions in their division. That is the true meaning of youth football."

The tournament will take place on November 29 and 30 at the Club . Thu Duc football (HCMC) .
