Mr. Phan Tan Dat is Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Mineral Industry Association.

The Ho Chi Minh City Mineral Industry Association has just held its first term congress (2025 - 2030). Mr. Phan Tan Dat was elected as the Association's Chairman.

The event marked the official establishment of a professional organization representing businesses operating in the mineral industry in the city, in the context of Ho Chi Minh City adjusting administrative boundaries and orienting to strengthen management of the mineral sector towards professionalism, transparency and sustainable development.

At the Congress of Delegates for the first term (2025 - 2030), delegates discussed and voted to approve the Charter of Operation, the Term Orientation and the Personnel Plan of the Executive Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Mineral Industry Association. Based on consensus, the Congress also announced the Executive Board of the Association for the first term (2025 - 2030), including: 15 members.

In which, Mr. Phan Tan Dat (Chairman of Binh Duong Minerals and Construction Joint Stock Company) was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Mineral Industry Association, along with two Vice Chairmen of the Association: Mr. Vo Minh Duc (General Director of Phuoc Ngoc Linh Joint Stock Company) and Mr. Nguyen Van Dung (Chairman of Binh Duong Construction Joint Stock Company).

The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Mineral Industry Association for the new term is responsible for building a stable operating foundation, implementing the Charter and developing members, while strengthening cooperation and participating in consulting activities in the management of minerals, construction materials and industrial infrastructure in the city.

At the Congress, representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment acknowledged and expected the Association to play the role of a bridge between state management agencies and businesses, strengthen its role as a policy consultant, promote technological innovation, ensure environmental standards and effectively use resources in the direction of circular economic development.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Association for Term I (2025 - 2030), Mr. Phan Tan Dat - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Mineral Industry Association received the instructions; at the same time, affirmed that the Association's priority orientation is to build a transparent and professional operating mechanism; strengthen public-private dialogue and expand cooperation; support members to improve competitiveness and promote sustainable development solutions in the mineral sector.

Within the framework of the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Mineral Industry Association awarded membership certificates to organizations and individuals operating in the mineral sector. Membership recognition is considered an important basis in building an industry data system, supporting businesses to connect, share information and promote professional cooperation.

The Congress ended in a spirit of solidarity and unity. The Executive Committee of Term I aims to focus on perfecting the operational foundation, strengthening the internal strength of members, actively participating in policy consultation work and accompanying the business community in the mineral industry in the orientation of socio-economic development of Ho Chi Minh City in the new period.
