PGA Championship golf tournament kicks off

The PGA Championship is the second major tournament (equivalent to the Grand Slam tournaments in tennis) of the year. The tournament attracts most of the world's strongest golfers at the moment.

The top contenders include world number one and reigning Olympic champion Scottie Scheffler (USA), world number two Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), world number three and 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion Xander Schauffele (USA).
