BTO-On the evening of August 18, at the Provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, the 2023 Binh Thuan Provincial Open Table Tennis Club Championship - Cam Pha Cement Cup officially opened. Mr. Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism attended and presented souvenir flags to the participating units.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hanh - Chairman of the Table Tennis Federation, shared: The tournament is organized to celebrate the National Tourism Year 2023 - Green Convergence Binh Thuan. This is not only a sports playground, training for health but also has spiritual significance to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, strengthen solidarity and learning between individuals and groups of agencies, table tennis clubs in Binh Thuan province and neighboring provinces.
The Open Club Table Tennis Championship was organized by the Table Tennis Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from August 18-20, with the participation of 21 clubs, units in the province, and provinces and cities with nearly 120 athletes competing in class A and class B.
The tournament once again affirmed that the movement of practicing and competing in table tennis in Binh Thuan province in recent years has attracted a large number of participants. Clubs, associations and groups were established to gather people who are passionate about table tennis to practice regularly to improve health, train physical strength and entertain after hours of work, labor and study.
