The new urban area and central walking street of Thai Nguyen city must be the symbol and identity of Thai Nguyen.

Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung chaired the Conference.

Attending the event were comrade Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities.

Comrade Pham Thai Hanh, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized the hope that the Project will have strong cultural elements and become a tourist destination of the province.

Leaders of Thai Nguyen City People's Committee reported information about the Project

At the Conference, delegates reviewed and gave their opinions on the investment policy of the New Urban Area Project, Central Walking Street of Thai Nguyen City. The project is located in Trung Vuong Ward, Thai Nguyen City with a scale of 6.64 hectares. The project has a total estimated investment of over 894.5 billion VND, with an implementation schedule of 3 years.

Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung delivered a concluding speech at the Conference.

Concluding the Conference, the Provincial Party Secretary agreed with the proposal of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on the investment in the New Urban Area Project and the Central Pedestrian Street of Thai Nguyen City when it fully complies with the provisions of the law. The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide within its authority and be responsible before the law according to regulations; direct relevant departments, branches and localities to organize the implementation to ensure publicity, transparency, full compliance with the provisions of the law and be responsible within their authority; report to the competent authority for comments when problems arise.

Emphasizing the importance of the Project, the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that this would be a project of the century, with high standards of quality, architecture, and aesthetics; fully meeting the economic , cultural, and tourism factors that are symbolic and imbued with the identity of Thai Nguyen.

The conference also conducted the content of the process on personnel work.
