From early morning, despite the light rain, the streets of Sa Pa were still brightly decorated with flags and flowers, along with the bustling laughter of tourists, creating a lively festival picture. Tourist attractions such as Xuan Vien Park, Quan Stadium, and Sa Pa Stone Church attracted a large number of visitors to check in. The number of visitors gradually increased from noon when the weather cleared up.

Mr. Bui Anh Toan, a tourist from Hanoi , shared: "I chose Sa Pa to rest before the holiday and will return to Hanoi on National Day to watch the parade. The air here is fresh, the people are friendly, very suitable to start a holiday."
On the first day of the holiday, the occupancy rate at most hotels and homestays reached over 70%, and is expected to increase sharply on August 31 and September 1, with many places reaching 90-100%. To attract guests, many accommodation establishments offer promotional packages and local experience services.
Mr. Do Khanh Duy, representative of Stella Deboutique Hotel (Sa Pa) said: “During this holiday, the hotel has fully prepared its staff. On August 31 and September 1, the room occupancy rate reached about 95-100%. We also prepared a diverse buffet breakfast menu for guests. Due to the forecast of a shortage of clean food during the holiday, the hotel proactively stocked up 1-2 days in advance.”

At Symphony Hotel Sa Pa, the unit offers promotional voucher packages, combined with Sun World incentives such as giving away buffet tickets.
Ms. Ma Thi Nga, manager of Symphony Hotel Sa Pa, said: “Room occupancy is expected to increase sharply on August 31. We want to bring the best experience to customers and expect this holiday to attract many tourists.”

Not only accommodations, restaurants and specialty eateries in Sa Pa are also busier than usual, ready to serve a large number of tourists with a rich menu.
Mr. Do Long Hai, chef of Sa Pa's Flavored Rice, shared: "Compared to normal days, the number of customers has doubled, even tripled."
In recent days, due to the impact of storm information, some tourists have canceled their reservations. However, when the weather in Sa Pa was beautiful on the first day of the holiday, many tourists continued to choose this place as their destination for the following days. Currently, Sa Pa has more than 800 accommodation establishments, from 1-5 star hotels to motels and homestays, meeting the needs of tourists for relaxation and accommodation.
Sa Pa is expected to welcome about 30,000 visitors every day. With its majestic natural scenery, bustling festival atmosphere and careful preparation by the local tourism industry, Sa Pa continues to be an ideal destination during this holiday season and promises to leave many beautiful memories in the hearts of visitors.
