Kia Sportage 2024 Hybrid version launched, price 680 million VND

Korean car manufacturer Kia has just announced detailed information about the upgraded Kia Sportage model, which uses a hybrid engine. This model is not only a technological update but also an important step for Kia towards modernization and fuel economy.

The hybrid version of the 2024 Kia ​​Sportage offers many impressive features. Equipped with a 1.6L I4 gasoline engine, combined with two electric motors and a 1.49 kWh battery pack, the car reaches a maximum capacity of 227 horsepower and 349 Nm of torque. In particular, the hybrid engine helps the car consume fuel extremely efficiently, only 5.47 liters/100km of mixed road.

In terms of exterior design, the Kia Sportage hybrid has a low-mounted LED fog light system. Above is still a sharp-designed headlight system with familiar boomerang-shaped daytime running lights. In the cabin, the standard version is equipped with an 8-inch touch screen, a 12.2-inch digital clock, dual-zone automatic climate control and an entertainment system with 6 speakers. The higher-end version will have more convenient features such as a sunroof, dual 12.3-inch screens, heated/ventilated front seats and a Harman Kardon sound system.

In terms of safety, the 2024 Kia ​​Sportage is not just a modern car but also a "mobile electronics" car equipped with an active safety package with features such as forward collision avoidance assist, smart headlights, lane keeping assist and rear cross-traffic alert. Other driver assistance technologies include adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert and avoidance, remote parking assist, unsafe rear door opening warning and panoramic view.

The selling price of the Kia Sportage hybrid version is 28,290 USD, equivalent to 680 million VND, a higher price than the previous version. The car is expected to be imported into the Vietnamese market this year, as Kia is gradually electrifying its product lines in Vietnam.

Along with that, Kia Sportage's competitors in the Vietnamese market such as Honda CR-V and Haval H6 have also chosen hybrid engines early. Kia is currently distributing the Kia Sorento Hybrid in Vietnam with two versions: self-charging hybrid and plug-in hybrid.
