On the morning of July 25, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of An Giang province held the 7th Executive Committee Meeting, term IV, term 2022 - 2027, to evaluate the results of activities in the first 6 months of the year and the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. At the same time, the mid-term review of the 2022 - 2027 term of implementing the Resolution of the Congress of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of An Giang province, term IV and information on the organizational work of the new Union of Associations of An Giang.

Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of An Giang province Doan Ngoc Pha chaired the conference. Also attending were two Vice Chairmen of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of An Giang province Thai Thuy Xuan and Dao Thanh Hoang.

The conference informed the project of merging the Associations of the two provinces of An Giang (old) and Kien Giang (old) into the Associations of An Giang (new); the organizational structure and personnel after the merger. Collected opinions from Executive Committee members on the completion of Executive Committee members of the Associations of Science and Technology of An Giang province and member associations (due to early retirement, dissolution of the organization).

In the 2022 - 2027 term, the An Giang Provincial Association has had many diverse activities, consolidating, developing the organization and promoting the activities of member associations. Developing the gathering and mobilizing of intellectuals; promoting political and ideological education among intellectuals; propagating, disseminating and applying science and technology in production and life; gradually implementing consulting and criticism work... The work of organizing activities to honor intellectuals, organizing competitions and contests continues to be effectively implemented, contributing to spreading the emulation movement of scientific and technological innovation in the community.

From now until the end of the term, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of An Giang province will continue to play a core role in gathering and building a team of intellectuals, promoting the dynamism and creativity of the team of scientific and technological intellectuals to meet the requirements of socio-economic development of the province; organizing creative people's movements through competitions and technical innovation competitions; performing well the role of a member organization under the provincial Fatherland Front system.
