According to the Economic and Environmental Police Team of Hai Chau District Police, on the afternoon of November 3rd, detectives from the unit conducted a surprise inspection of a facility producing and selling dried fish and dried squid, a specialty product under the Nghi Ha brand, on Trung Nu Vuong Street (Hoa Thuan Dong Ward, Hai Chau District).
The warehouse, which did not meet food safety standards, was seized and a report was filed.

This dried seafood specialty facility in Da Nang is owned by Ms. BTTH. During the inspection, the Economic and Environmental Police Team discovered numerous violations regarding food safety.
Specifically, the cold storage contained many dried food items, such as dried beef jerky that had become moldy, mixed in with items that were still usable.
The processing area does not meet food safety standards.

The business owner was unable to produce documents proving the origin of the dried beef and seaweed products.
The facility's employees, who process specialty food, are not wearing the required protective clothing when in direct contact with the food.
The materials are damp and moldy.
Ms. BTTH also failed to provide complete certificates of food safety training and health certificates for her employees.
Currently, the Economic and Environmental Police Team of Hai Chau District Police has seized all the specialty goods that violated food safety regulations and will continue to verify and handle the case according to regulations.
