The results achieved in August helped fruit and vegetable export turnover in the first 8 months of the year reach 3.55 billion USD, an increase of 61.8% over the same period last year.

Notably, after only 8 months, the turnover of this group of goods has exceeded the whole year of 2022 (last year it reached 3.36 billion USD). Among Vietnam's main export groups, fruits and vegetables are considered the industry with the most impressive growth.

In terms of market, China is the largest importer of fruit and vegetable products. In August, export turnover to this market reached 266.25 million USD and in the first 8 months reached 2.26 billion USD, accounting for 63.66% of the country's fruit and vegetable export turnover. In addition, other notable large export markets of fruit and vegetable products are the US, South Korea, Japan, etc.
