Kinh Mon urgently implements procedures to support farmers

On October 9, Kinh Mon Town People's Committee organized a meeting and dialogue between Chairman of the Town People's Committee Bui Xuan Loc and cadres, union members, and members of socio-political organizations in the area. Nearly 200 cadres, union members, and members of organizations in communes and wards participated in the dialogue.

There were 21 opinions and recommendations at the dialogue. Among them, there was a request for the town to guide localities in implementing regional planning, converting livestock, aquaculture, and fruit tree planting in accordance with regulations and effectively.

Regarding this content, the Chairman of Kinh Mon Town People's Committee assigned the specialized agency to coordinate with the Institute of Agricultural Planning and Design to review and orient the structure of crops and livestock suitable for each type of land in communes and wards, towards forming concentrated commodity production areas, improving the efficiency of agricultural land use .

To ensure support for households affected by storm No. 3, comrade Bui Xuan Loc requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently compile statistics and assess the actual level of damage to crops and livestock, the subjects receiving support, and carry out procedures to support farmers to restore production in accordance with regulations.
