Private economy - New development driving force

On the afternoon of June 23, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to honor outstanding businessmen and excellent enterprises of Vinh Phuc province in 2025. Attending the meeting were comrades: Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Bui Huy Vinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments and branches and more than 200 enterprises in the province.

At the meeting to honor typical entrepreneurs and excellent enterprises of the province in 2025, the Provincial People's Committee held a discussion with the theme "Private economy - New development driving force for Vinh Phuc province's economy and actions from Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo ".

During the discussion, delegates listened to the leaders of the Department of Finance inform about the current situation, role and development potential of the private economic sector in the province.

Representatives of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry shared experiences and solutions to improve the provincial competitiveness index and some recommendations for the province as well as businesses in implementing Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo.

Representatives of some enterprises also shared initial successes in production and business activities; difficulties and obstacles in the operation process, especially regarding land, administrative procedures, access to science and technology, etc. Enterprises affirmed to continue to accompany and contribute to the province's double-digit economic growth target.

At the meeting to honor typical entrepreneurs and excellent enterprises of the province in 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong praised and highly appreciated the contributions of the business community to the socio-economic development of the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on private economic development is clearly expressed in 15 words: "Acknowledge - Create mechanisms - Give trust - Promote reform - Inspire".

Resolution No. 68 not only creates breakthroughs, motivation, and opens up development space for the private economic sector, but also creates a favorable legal corridor, provides substantial support, encourages startups, innovative businesses, and joins the digital transformation, green transformation, and deep global integration.

Implementing Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on private economic development, the province continues to promote the combined strength, mobilize resources and the participation of the political system and people, ensuring adherence to three strategic breakthroughs in institutions, human resources, and infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for private economic development.

Regularly organize dialogue conferences between provincial leaders and enterprises, entrepreneurs, and business households to promptly resolve recommendations, problems, and bottlenecks that need to be removed by the private economic sector; thereby, propose solutions and policies to support the development of the private economy in a practical, timely, and effective manner.

Continue to resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses; focus on adjusting planning according to Decision No. 158 of the Prime Minister on approving the Planning of Vinh Phuc province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Focus on improving the business investment environment, shifting from management mechanism to creation and support, abolishing at least 30% of business investment conditions, reducing at least 30% of time to handle administrative procedures under the province's authority according to the direction of the Central Government.

At the same time, focus on research, have priority policies, promote startups, develop innovative enterprises, science and technology enterprises, small and medium enterprises, and encourage the conversion of business households into enterprises.

With the consistent spirit in the direction and management of the province in the coming time being "action and specific results", Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong requested that enterprises continue to be self-reliant, proactive in grasping information, participating in dialogue, and connecting policies between the government and the business community.

Proactively transform technology, digitalize, green, enhance internal strength and competitiveness, pioneer in transforming business models.

Strengthening process standardization, financial transparency, building sustainable corporate culture; linking chains, cooperating with FDI enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and partners for mutual development.

Comrade Tran Duy Dong said that from July 1, 2025, the two-level local government model will officially come into operation and Vinh Phuc province and Hoa Binh province will merge with Phu Tho province to establish the new Phu Tho province.

As new spaces expand, business growth opportunities will increase, but also come with many difficulties and challenges.

However, with the guiding spirit of "action and concrete results", Vinh Phuc province and in the future Phu Tho province will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for the private economy to develop.

Speaking at the meeting to honor outstanding entrepreneurs and excellent enterprises of the province in 2025, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong reviewed the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development of the province since its re-establishment, emphasizing the important contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs to the development of the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the business community and entrepreneurs will continue to overcome all difficulties, seize development opportunities, and accompany the province into a new era, an era of national growth.

At the meeting to honor outstanding entrepreneurs and excellent enterprises of the province in 2025, 32 outstanding entrepreneurs received the Provincial Outstanding Entrepreneur Cup and 51 outstanding enterprises were honored.
