In recent years, the emulation movements of the Provincial Women's Union have been implemented in a practical manner, linking political tasks with caring for the lives of members and developing the local economy and society. Movements such as "Building the Vietnamese woman of the new era," "Women of the ancestral land: friendly, compassionate, united, integrated, and developing," or studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh have created a widespread impact among female cadres and members throughout the province.
Implementing Project 938, the Provincial Women's Union organized communication activities and launched the model "Women joining hands to ensure food safety" in Ky Son ward, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of members in building a civilized lifestyle, protecting community health, and spreading positive values.
Along with propaganda work, the Women's Union at all levels focuses on improving the material and spiritual lives of its members, as this is a crucial factor in strengthening trust at the grassroots level. Currently, the entire province maintains many models of collective economic development, cooperatives, and associations managed by women; thousands of members have been supported in accessing preferential capital, receiving entrepreneurship training, technology transfer, and digital transformation skills.
In Lam Thao commune, many models of women's economic development linked to building cultural life have been effectively implemented, attracting a large number of members to participate. Ms. Vu Thanh Thuy, President of the Women's Union of Lam Thao commune, said: "When life is stable, women have the opportunity to participate in Union activities more regularly and access official information. As a result, their political awareness and sense of responsibility to the community are enhanced."
In many localities, Women's Union branches at all levels have proactively integrated the dissemination of legal information, digital skills, and skills in identifying harmful and toxic information into training courses, thematic activities, and community activities. In particular, the implementation of the breakthrough in digital transformation has created a clear shift in the way the Women's Union operates. Many models such as "Digital Women's Branch," "Digital Women's Group," "Application of IT in Women's Union activities," "Women helping each other in digital transformation," and "Each woman - one basic digital skill" have been formed, helping members gradually adapt to a safe and civilized digital environment.
The various levels of the Association also actively participate in the work of building the Party and government; carrying out social supervision and criticism; and disseminating information and mobilizing the people to implement major policies.
During the elections for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, women's associations at all levels proactively propagated and mobilized women to participate in the elections; organized training for female candidates, contributing to increasing the percentage of women participating in Party committees and government at all levels. To date, the number of women's association members holding key roles is increasing. At the commune level, the province has 14 Party Committee Secretaries, 43 Deputy Secretaries, 7 Chairpersons of People's Committees, 14 Chairpersons of People's Councils, 35 Vice Chairpersons of People's Committees, 250 Standing Committee members, 989 Executive Committee members, and 531 heads of departments and equivalent positions who are women. This is an important force in directing and implementing tasks related to protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
Through practical emulation movements, women in Phu Tho not only affirm their role in socio-economic development but also contribute to consolidating "the people's support" and protecting the Party's ideological foundation at the grassroots level.
Actively spread positive information.
In the context of the rapid development of social media, guiding information and spreading positive values is becoming an increasingly important requirement for all levels of the Association. Instead of relying solely on traditional methods of dissemination, many local branches have proactively utilized digital platforms to bring official information closer to members and the public. Fan pages and community Zalo groups are maintained in an organized manner; many local Association officials proactively post positive news, examples of good people and good deeds, and successful models in labor and production, building cultured families, and protecting the environment.
Currently, the Facebook page of the Phu Tho Provincial Women's Union has over 13,000 followers. Many commune and ward Women's Unions have also created their own social media pages to quickly disseminate official information.
In protecting the Party's ideological foundation, the Women's Association of the Provincial Public Security Department has effectively promoted the role of its officers and members in disseminating information, guiding public opinion, and combating false and hostile viewpoints.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thi Thuy Ha - President of the Women's Association of the Provincial Police Department, said: "In the past period, the Association at all levels has actively promoted propaganda on the internet, posting nearly 1,000 news articles reflecting the Association's activities, good examples, and legal information on the digital platforms of the Provincial Police Department and Women's Associations at all levels. At the same time, we have proactively created many news articles to counter distorted narratives related to the reform of the police organizational structure, the country's development achievements, and the task of ensuring security and order."
The Association also focuses on raising awareness and digital skills for its officers and members by advising on and organizing numerous online competitions to learn about law, gender equality, prevention of domestic violence, and safety skills for women in cyberspace. Through these activities, each female officer and member of the Provincial Police plays the role of an active and proactive communicator, spreading official information, contributing to firmly protecting the ideological foundation of the Party and building a positive image of the People's Police officer in the hearts of the people.
Women in the provincial police force are actively undergoing professional training, building a regular and elite force to meet the requirements of protecting security and order in the new situation.
Alongside this, the Women's Union at all levels in the province continues to effectively maintain social welfare activities, caring for vulnerable women and children, and building a healthy living environment. Programs such as "Godmotherhood," supporting women's entrepreneurship, helping poor women develop economically, and caring for families of policy beneficiaries... not only have humanitarian significance but also contribute to strengthening the people's trust in the Party, the State, and the Women's Union.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Tinh - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union - affirmed: The ideological situation of women of all social strata in the province is basically stable; cadres and members trust in the leadership of the Party, actively respond to patriotic emulation movements and participate in building the political system at the grassroots level. From practical experience, it can be affirmed that, with their gentle yet firm approach, and with their prestige in the family and community, women in the ancestral land are increasingly playing the role of a "soft shield" in protecting the ideological foundation of the Party, contributing to maintaining political and social stability in the new situation.
Through concrete and practical actions, from spreading positive information and maintaining family values to accompanying the community in digital transformation and social welfare movements, women are contributing to building trust and consolidating a strong foundation of public support at the grassroots level. This is also a crucial foundation for maintaining political and social stability, strengthening national unity, and firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation.
