Signing of coordination regulations between the Defense Command of Region 1 - Van An with communes and wards

On the afternoon of October 9, the Party Committee of the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An (SCDF) held a conference to sign the Coordination Regulations with the Party Committees of communes and wards in the area in leading and directing the implementation of local military and defense tasks.

Attending and directing the conference was Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command (PPC).

Also attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Phan Duc Dong - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Truong Vinh Ward; Duong Dinh Chinh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Loc Commune; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairmen of the People's Councils of Kim Lien, Hung Nguyen, Hung Nguyen Nam communes, Cua Lo Ward; Party Secretaries of communes and wards in the area and relevant agencies.

At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing members of the Party Executive Committee of PTKV 1 - Van An; approving the draft Regulation on coordination between the Party Committee of PTKV 1 - Van An Command with the Party Committees of communes and wards in the area in leading and directing the implementation of local military and defense tasks and building military cells of communes and wards.

Accordingly, the draft Coordination Regulations clearly state the responsibilities and contents of coordination between units in performing local military and defense tasks. Specifically, the parties will coordinate to exchange and inform the situation and instructions and resolutions of relevant levels in the military and defense fields; coordinate with the Party Committees of communes and wards to build clean and strong military cells and lead the Military Commands of communes and wards to successfully complete their tasks.

In addition, the parties also coordinate to organize training, competitions, sports, and professional training according to the plans of the Ministry of National Defense , Military Region, and Provincial Military Command; select and call citizens to join the army, and recruit military students to ensure quantity and quality; organize defense drills, natural disaster prevention, rescue, and fire prevention and fighting; participate in maintaining political security, social order and safety in border areas, carry out defense foreign affairs and other related contents.

At the conference, the parties exchanged, discussed, agreed on the content and signed a coordination agreement between the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Van An and representatives of the Party Committees of 22 communes and wards in the area in leading and directing the implementation of local military and defense tasks./.
