At the 29th session held from June 12-15, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed the results of handling the denunciation against Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province Lam Minh Thanh.
Accordingly, the Central Inspection Commission found that Mr. Lam Minh Thanh violated working regulations; lacked responsibility, loosened leadership and direction, allowing a number of organizations and individuals to violate Party regulations and State laws in personnel work and procurement, management, and use of biological products, chemicals, supplies, and medical equipment to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.
Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Lam Minh Thanh with a reprimand.
The Central Inspection Commission also requested the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct the review, consider responsibility and discipline related organizations and individuals, and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission./.
