Disciplinary action against the deputy director in charge of Dong Hoi Protective Forest Management Board

On November 7, information from the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee said that through the 24th session held on November 3, the unit had just disciplined Mr. Dinh Thanh Quang, Party Cell Secretary, Deputy Director in charge of the Dong Hoi and Coastal Protection Forest Management Board of Quang Binh Province, former Director of the Dong Hoi City Protection Forest Management Board.

Mr. Le Van Bao, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

After review, the Inspection Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee found that Mr. Dinh Thanh Quang was irresponsible in the management of forestry land, allowing a number of cases of encroachment on forestry land assigned by the State for management. Considering the content, nature, extent, consequences and causes of the violation, the Inspection Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee imposed disciplinary action in the form of a reprimand on Mr. Dinh Thanh Quang.

In addition, the Inspection Committee of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee also reviewed the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Party Committee of the Departmentof Education and Training of Quang Binh province, the Party Committee of the Department of Health of Quang Binh province in the development and implementation of working regulations, focusing on the leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of projects and bidding packages for the procurement of assets and equipment carried out by Tien Bo International Joint Stock Company.

Through inspection, the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training and the Party Committee of the Department of Health had shortcomings and violations in developing and implementing the Party Committee's working regulations, lacking regular leadership, direction, inspection and supervision of cadres and party members in performing their duties, allowing some cadres and party members to have shortcomings and violations in purchasing assets, school equipment and medical equipment.

Responsibility for the above shortcomings and violations belongs to the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training for the 2010-2015 and 2015-2020 terms, the Party Committee of the Department of Health for the 2010-2015 term and a number of cadres and party members of the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health.

The shortcomings and violations of the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Health and related individuals need to be reviewed and their responsibilities considered according to regulations.
