2025-2026 High School Entrance Exam: Candidates Evaluate Foreign Language Exam as "Easy"

The total number of candidates taking the Foreign Language exam on the afternoon of June 5 was 21,175, reaching a rate of 95.59%, with 977 absent candidates. The Foreign Language exam was in the form of multiple choice questions with a test time of 60 minutes.

Candidates completed the exam on the afternoon of June 5 at the Examination Council of Le Quy Don High School.

According to the assessment of candidates and teachers, the English exam has 40 questions and basically follows the sample exam structure previously issued by the Departmentof Education and Training.

There are questions of varying levels of difficulty. Many candidates said that the exam was “easier” than the curriculum, so they felt very comfortable. Many candidates were confident of getting 7-8 points.

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on June 5 and 6. The province has 22,152 candidates registered to take the exam at 53 public high schools across the province.

The Department of Education and Training organized 53 examination councils at high schools in 15 districts, towns and cities. According to the Department of Education and Training, the first day of the examination took place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations. No staff or candidates violated the examination regulations.

On the morning of June 6, candidates will take the Math exam in essay format (120 minutes), starting at 7:30.

On the afternoon of June 6, candidates took the specialized subject exam at Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted with a test time of 150 minutes, starting at 2:00 p.m.
