According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism : In the first 10 months of 2025, the market is recovering and creating a great driving force for the end of the year, domestic tourists in the first 10 months of 2025 are estimated to reach about 125 million arrivals, international visitors in the first 10 months are estimated to reach about 17.2 million arrivals.
Meanwhile, the statistical report shows that tourism revenue in the first 10 months of 2025 is estimated at VND77,400 billion, while accommodation and food service revenue in the first 10 months is estimated at VND695,100 billion - a sign that the service, accommodation and food industry is directly benefiting from the domestic tourism wave. These figures reinforce the expectation that the last two months of the year (when Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year are approaching) can help the industry reach or exceed its annual target.
To seize the opportunity, localities and tourism businesses have implemented many synchronous measures. In particular, applying technology (VR, AR, QR codes, digital platforms) is one of the methods that many units prioritize. Many experiential tour products are digitized to tell stories about heritage, history and nature in an attractive way for young visitors, helping to increase the rate of interest converting into tour booking.
The virtual reality tour model "Legendary Truong Son Road - Commander Cave" is of interest to many tourists as it helps vividly recreate the historical context right on the VR platform.

Mr. Tran Kien Trung, T20 Quyet Thang Company Limited said: “Instead of only knowing about Truong Son Road through TV and movies, tourists can now fully experience the journey of the soldiers driving support vehicles on Road 20 Quyet Thang, amidst the rain of bombs and bullets. We hope that Commander Cave will be known to more people, thereby attracting more tourists to Quang Tri .”

Bringing digital experiences to tourism is considered an effective solution to stimulate demand, increase interaction and help tourists access destination information before deciding to book a tour.
The new Gia Lai province has a unique advantage: on one side is the blue coastal sea, on the other side is the majestic Central Highlands. This locality is choosing a strategy to stimulate demand by developing new products and bringing promotions directly to tourists through QR codes.
Mr. Dang Thanh Hung, Deputy Head of Gia Lai Tourism Management and Development Department, said: “We coordinate with businesses to launch vouchers, tourism stimulus programs and integrate them all into QR codes for customers to look up. At the same time, to catch the trend of tourism growth at the end of the year, Gia Lai is reviewing to build new tourism products, expanding the domestic and foreign tourism market.”
Cultural experiences are considered a factor that keeps tourists staying longer, thereby increasing spending and extending their stay. Many localities such as Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien, Thai Nguyen… are shifting from the “arrive-take photos-leave” model to the immersive tourism model.
Cultural tours do not only introduce customs but also allow visitors to wear traditional costumes, cook local specialties (in Ta Van, Sa Pa), pick tea, dry tea, make tea (in Thai Nguyen), weave brocade (in Bac Ha, Muong Hum), or participate in ethnic minority cultural exchanges (Central Highlands, Northwest). These are experiences that can sell tickets, helping to increase the value of each tour and create unique products for the end of the year - the time when visitors prioritize experiences, families, and groups of friends.

Businesses are launching promotional packages, vouchers and e-vouchers for the holiday season to stimulate demand for the year-end holidays and Tet 2026, which helps speed up the conversion rate from “research” to “booking a tour”. Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoan, General Director of Flamingo Redtour, said that this is a favorable time for businesses to approach customers and increase the conversion rate.
With a positive data base, new local products and large-scale incentives from businesses, Vietnam tourism has the opportunity to make a strong breakthrough in the peak season at the end of the year. Technology, culture-heritage and resort trends are creating a diverse picture, suitable for modern tourists' tastes. If the growth momentum is maintained and stimulus programs are optimized, the tourism industry can completely achieve and exceed the 2025 target, while creating a solid momentum for 2026.
