Prenn Pass in Da Lat has large cracks, prohibiting all vehicles from passing through.

At 10:00 a.m. on November 17, Lam Dong province authorities absolutely banned people and vehicles from traveling through Prenn pass in Da Lat when the pass cracked, threatening to collapse a lane towards the underground tunnel.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province, large cracks appeared in the middle of Prenn Pass, Da Lat, stretching dozens of meters, encroaching on nearly half of the road, from Da Lat down.

At the scene, a part of the negative slope has slid down. The incident continues to worsen, there is a risk of sliding down, collapsing this location, directly affecting people and vehicles.

Lam Dong provincial authorities have completely banned people and vehicles from traveling through Prenn Pass in Da Lat from 10am on November 17. During this time, all vehicles going up and down Da Lat are instructed to move through Mimosa Pass.

The incident threatened traffic safety, forcing authorities to ban Prenn Pass in Da Lat.

Prenn Pass in Da Lat has just been renovated, upgraded and put into use for more than a year. Before the landslide this morning, some cracks appeared on the road surface at this location due to the continuous heavy rain in Lam Dong province.
