Welcoming the delegation from Japan was Professor Waki Hidefumi, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences at Juntendo University. It is known that Juntendo University is one of the leading training centers for athletics coaches and athletes in Japan as well as in the world.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Pham Kim Dinh said that implementing the policy of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security on enhancing security cooperation between the two countries to go deeper and more substantial, is one of the important pillars contributing to promoting cooperation in all fields between the two sides, including the field of physical training and sports, the CAND Sports Department continues to implement the contents signed in the Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in training, coaching and competition in Japan's strong sports; prepare forces to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand and the 2026 ASIAD in Japan in October 2026; thereby contributing to improving the achievements of the Vietnam CAND Sports Department.
Professor Waki Hidefumi, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Sports at Juntendo University, expressed his joy at receiving the trust and cooperation proposal from the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam. Professor Waki Hidefumi also said that he will always be ready to coordinate and create the best conditions for the training courses of the Vietnam Police Sports Association at Juntendo.
With the role of connecting and promoting the implementation of the contents signed between the two sides, Dr. Do Quang Ba (Japanese name Hikari Saburo), Chairman of the Vietnam - Japan International Exchange Organization, said that in the coming time, he hopes that the contents signed by the two sides in the Memorandum of Understanding will continue to be effectively implemented. In particular, the organization of training for coaches and athletes of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports for traditional and strong sports of Japan at Juntendo in the short, medium and long term, with appropriate support mechanisms as well as inviting experts and experienced coaches of Juntendo to teach and train Karatedo, Judo, Jujitsu, Athletics, etc. at the People's Public Security Sports Training and Competition Center, Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.
On the same day, Juntendo University received 1 coach (Captain Khuat Huu Duy) and two track and field athletes (Truong Van Hieu and Trieu Thai Son) from the CAND Sports Training and Competition Center to conduct a short-term training course until December 1 at Juntendo.
