In those reflections on a long-distance relationship, Ha Trang reminisces about the early days of their relationship. In 2022, after graduating from high school, Trang was rewarded by her parents with a trip to visit her uncle's house in Lai Chau . It was her first time there, and Trang was thrilled by the majestic natural beauty and fresh air, so different from the bustling city. On the very first night in this unfamiliar place, Trang was greeted by her uncle's friends who invited her out for a meal, a small welcome party for a new friend. However, the appointed time arrived, but the boy named Nam in the group hadn't shown up yet.

Everyone borrowed Trang's phone to call Nam, but he didn't answer. A little later, Nam arrived, apologizing for his delay with a reasonable explanation. In the following days, Trang was drawn into the local youth's activities and explored the beauty of the mountains and forests. Gradually, Nam's actions, gestures, and attention made Trang begin to feel more comfortable and closer to him.

Before Trang left for Hanoi , Nam suggested they organize an early birthday celebration for her with many pleasant surprises. Throughout the afternoon, Nam spent time picking and weaving flowers into a wreath to give to the girl he secretly admired that evening. The day Trang left for the capital was also the day they both received their university acceptance letters.

After arriving in Nha Trang to attend university, Nam occasionally borrowed a staff member's phone on weekends to call and check on his family and Trang. During the Tet holiday break, he stopped by Hanoi to see his girlfriend, but still didn't dare confess his feelings, fearing rejection. He only subtly hinted at changing the background of their conversations from blue to pink with interwoven heart shapes and sent a Valentine's Day gift by mail as a way of expressing his feelings.

After getting to know each other for a while, Ha Trang arranged to visit her boyfriend over the weekend. Taking advantage of the more than one day they spent together, they took meaningful photos, as if to affirm that their hearts belonged to each other. Being by Nam's side, resting her head on his shoulder, always made Trang feel warm and protected.

Despite the geographical distance of thousands of kilometers, the young couple always encouraged and instilled confidence in each other through letters. In the letter Trang received, Nam didn't forget to encourage her: "No matter who you are, we will grow old together. Even if you become more difficult, I will always be by your side, gentle with the girl I love most." Knowing that the future holds many challenges, Ha Trang and Thanh Nam always believe in their love and promise to soon be together.
