According to the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police, previously, social networking sites posted a video of a convoy of supercars driving on Nguyen Van Linh Street, Hai Chau District. When reaching the intersection with Phan Chau Trinh Street (Hai Chau District), the traffic lights started to turn yellow and red.
Seeing the red light, other vehicles slowed down and stopped, but this convoy did not stop but continued to run the red light.
According to the recorded images, there were about 9 vehicles in this convoy that ran a red light. The fact that this convoy blatantly violated traffic rules, regardless of the risk of an accident, has angered many people and they want the authorities to take strict action.
It is worth mentioning that this group of "super cars" ran a red light on Nguyen Van Linh Street and were not given priority or had traffic police guidance and support. The police force is checking and verifying the owners of the supercars who ran the red light to handle them according to regulations.

On the same day, a representative of Mailisa Beauty Salon (located on Nguyen Van Linh Street, Da Nang) confirmed that the above-mentioned "supercar" convoy came to Da Nang to participate in the event celebrating the establishment's anniversary. The beauty salon's platform also posted information about the schedule of the supercar convoy "parading" on the streets of Da Nang.
During the parade, the supercars focused on following the lead car so they did not have time to observe the traffic signals, leading to a series of red light runs. This was an undesirable situation during the move. Specifically, when the convoy passed through the intersection, the lead car passed while the light was still green. The cars behind, because they were focused on steering and moving with the car in front, did not have time to observe the traffic signals, leading to the cars running the red light.
"This was an oversight during the move, and an important lesson for us. We take responsibility and hope that traffic participants at that time will sympathize," said a representative of Mailisa Beauty Salon.
At the same time, this person said that immediately after the incident, the event organizer will comply with legal regulations, work with authorities and complete all penalty procedures according to regulations.
Regarding the incident, on the afternoon of March 17, a representative of the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City said that Mailisa Beauty Salon had completed the procedures to notify about the supercar parade. The Department has set time and location limits. However, if the unit exceeds the time regulations or violates traffic safety laws, the parade unit must take responsibility.
