Right at the beginning, host Nguyen Khac Ngan Vi mentioned actor Thai Hoa and asked about the relationship between Charlie Nguyen and the actor of the movie De Mai Tinh . The director born in 1968 frankly talked about this relationship in the face of suspicions about gender because Thai Hoa once shared Charlie as a wife to the media.

"A director does not only take on that role. A director is also a person who serves and supports actors when they encounter difficulties in acting and in life. Sometimes he is a conductor, sometimes a maid, he has to encourage, demonstrate and sometimes he has to sacrifice. He has to play all kinds of roles, as long as in the end on screen he achieves the results he wants," he said.

After living in the US for a long time, when returning to Vietnam, the director of the film " People Who Need to Forget Must Remember " also often did housework after leaving the role of an assistant on set. "In the US, housework is the work of both men and women, it is not something that whoever is free can do, but it is the responsibility of both people. Women also go to school and work, they still have to be independent and have their own knowledge and career, so if they have to shoulder all the family matters and take care of the children, there will be no more equality," director Charlie emphasized.

Charlie Nguyen affirms doing housework to develop relationships

According to the producer of famous comedies, doing housework is also a way to develop a relationship and keep it stronger. "Doing housework is not only a cultural thing but simply because I value this relationship and want to preserve it. I want the relationship between me and that person to be meaningful and not just something I can only get," he expressed.

When asked by host Nguyen Khac Ngan Vi about making films, the director of the film Bloodline Hero revealed the reason why the films he produces all have images of men cooking and taking care of their families. At the same time, he also mentioned the martial arts and violent scenes in his films and upcoming projects.

The 60-minute conversation between host Nguyen Khac Ngan Vi and director Charlie Nguyen at Story VI will be broadcast at 7:30 p.m. on June 30 on Thanh Nien Newspaper's platforms.
