First time issuing the Regulations for the Press Award on Buon Ma Thuot City

(CLO) The People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province has just decided to issue the Rules for the Press Award about Buon Ma Thuot City. This is the first time the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City has coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Journalists Association to organize the Award.

Accordingly, the Press Award for writing about Buon Ma Thuot City aims to encourage and motivate journalists and reporters from central and local press agencies, authors, and groups of professional and non-professional authors to create high-quality press works to propagate and promote the image, people, and potential of Buon Ma Thuot City, promote investment, and attract domestic and foreign tourists ...

The Organizing Committee will select and award prizes to outstanding, high-quality press works with attractive content and form, high social effectiveness, truthfully and richly reflecting all aspects of social life, the process of formation and development, important historical marks, actively contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland of the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in Buon Ma Thuot City.

The Organizing Committee encourages works on the topic of Party building and the political system; articles on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; implementing Conclusion No. 67 of the Politburo, Resolution No. 103 on promulgating the Government's action program to implement Conclusion No. 67 of the Politburo; Resolution No. 72 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Buon Ma Thuot City.

Especially works written about the process of building Buon Ma Thuot into a central urban area of the Central Highlands, "Coffee City of the World"; recommendations and proposals for solutions to build and develop Buon Ma Thuot City in the coming time...

According to the regulations, each author or group of authors can submit a maximum of 5 works to the competition and each author can only be named in 5 works or in 5 groups of authors (an author who is a cameraman can be named in a maximum of 5 groups of authors). The maximum number of authors in a group of authors is 5 people.

The structure and quantity include 4 types of press: print, electronic, visual (television), and spoken (radio).

Journalists' associations or press agencies compile entries and send them (in person or by post) before May 10, 2025 (based on the postmark).

For authors who are not members or do not participate in local branches, or do not belong to any press agency, please send your entries (in person or by post) before May 5, 2025 (based on the postmark).

The press awards for writing about Buon Ma Thuot City were summarized and awarded on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 2025).
