World Travel Awards is considered the "Oscar of the tourism industry", is the world's leading prestigious international awards system, honoring outstanding destinations, organizations and brands in the fields of tourism, hotels and aviation.

Ho Chi Minh City was named in the top three categories in Asia by the World Travel Awards 2025, including: "Asia's Leading Business Travel Destination", "Asia's Leading Festival and Event Travel Destination" and "Asia's Leading City Tourism Promotion Agency".

In 2025, Vung Tau marked a strong change when the Thuy Van Road Improvement Project was completed and put into use. The entire Bai Sau area was planned and renovated synchronously, creating a modern resort and entertainment space, serving the people and tourists.
