Strengthening connections and promoting Ninh Binh tourism to key international markets

On the morning of October 17, the Vietnam Tourism Association coordinated with the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh province and the Provincial Tourism Association to organize a trade exchange program between Ninh Binh province tourism businesses and Korean and Philippine tourism businesses (B2B).

Ninh Binh Tourism wishes to cooperate effectively and sustainably with businesses, investors, and international organizations in the fields of trade, services, tourism, and human resource development.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, emphasized that the number of international tourists to Vietnam is increasing day by day, especially visitors from Korea and the Philippines. In the first 9 months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed 15.44 million arrivals, an increase of 21.5% over the same period in 2024, of which Korea reached 3.2 million arrivals (accounting for 21% of total arrivals) and especially visitors from the Philippines reached 337,000 arrivals, a record increase of 92.2%, making the Philippines a prominent market for Vietnamese tourism.

To contribute to the rapid and sustainable increase in the number of tourists coming to Vietnam from these two important markets, the Vietnam Tourism Association will coordinate with localities to organize the reception of travel business delegations from the two countries to Vietnam to survey new tourism products, meet tourism businesses, and establish business cooperation relationships; at the same time, Vietnam will also promote the rapid increase in the number of Vietnamese tourists to Korea and the Philippines in the coming time.
