Lang Son elects leadership positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of the province

On the afternoon of October 20, the 41st session (special session) of the 17th term People's Council of Lang Son province, term 2021-2026, dismissed and elected the positions of Vice Chairman of the People's Council and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province.

At the session, the People's Council of Lang Son province dismissed comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, from the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province, term 2021-2026, with 93.48% of delegates attending the session in agreement.

Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, congratulated Comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, on being elected as Vice Chairman of the 17th Lang Son Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the same time, the session also dismissed comrade Dinh Huu Hoc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, from the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Lang Son province, and elected him to hold the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province, term 2021-2026, with 100% of delegates attending the session in agreement.

The People's Council of Lang Son province elected comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Chi Lang Commune Party Committee, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province, term 2021-2026, with 93.48% of delegates attending the meeting in agreement.

The People's Council of Lang Son province also dismissed comrade Luong Trong Quynh from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee because he was transferred and appointed by the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee from October 16, 2025.

Speaking at the assignment, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the comrades nominated for election to the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee today are carefully selected officials with strong political will, good moral qualities, capacity and practical experience, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the current period.
