The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, demonstrating the deep interest of the Vietnamese diplomatic representative agency in the Kansai region in sports and cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Japan.
Speaking at the meeting, Consul General Ngo Trinh Ha congratulated Nam Dinh Football Club on having a successful season in the V-League, affirming the image of a football team with a rich tradition and the largest fan base in Vietnam.
He emphasized that this friendly match is not only an opportunity for the team to compete and learn from the advanced football experience of Japan, but also an opportunity to promote the image of a friendly, dynamic and integrated Vietnam to international friends.
The Consul General highly appreciated the sportsmanship and professionalism of Nam Dinh Football Club and believed that the match with Gamba Osaka would leave a good impression, contributing to strengthening the friendship between the two localities of Nam Dinh and Osaka as well as between the two countries of Vietnam and Japan.
He also expressed his thanks to the Japanese Organizing Committee, Vietnamese associations in Kansai and many overseas Vietnamese who actively coordinated and supported the delegation during this working and competition trip.
