Singer Jack performed a song that received negative feedback from the audience on the show.
Singer Jack performed a song that received negative feedback from the audience on the show.

Specifically, on the evening of October 16, Jack performed a song that was not on the list of approved songs. This song had some rap verses that the audience reacted to, saying that the lyrics were offensive, used vulgar language, lacked standards, disrespected the audience and was not suitable for public performance, and attacked anti-fans (people who do not like him) quite harshly.

After public opinion about the incident, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports reviewed the entire incident and invited the program's organizing committee to work to clarify the licensing process as well as the performance content.

The organizers of the program “Moonlit Childhood” said that on the night of October 16, artist Jack performed a newly composed song, as a surprise gift for the audience and fans. Because of this improvisation, the above song is not yet on the list of songs approved by the Department of Culture and Sports according to regulations.

The program organizers take full responsibility for this shortcoming and will seriously learn from experience, ensuring that future programs are carried out in accordance with procedures and in full compliance with legal regulations.

Regarding the lyrics of this song, the Organizing Committee believes that this is a new composition, with the artist's own expressive style, so it can create different interpretations. The Organizing Committee understands and respects all perspectives, and always strives to ensure that the performances in the program aim for positive cultural and artistic values and are suitable for the audience.

The organizers of the Moonlit Childhood program also committed to making positive adjustments in the following programs, to bring the audience increasingly professional, complete and meaningful performances.

Previously, on October 20, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports confirmed that the Moonlit Childhood program on the evening of October 16 had been granted a performance license. However, the new song that Jack performed was not on the list of songs submitted by the organizer for censorship and permission. The Department conducted an inspection and requested the Organizing Committee to work to clarify the matter.

The program "Moonlit Childhood 2025" is directed by Music Director Ta Duy Tuan. Along with Jack, the program brings together many famous artists such as Huong Tram, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Nhat Huyen... and fashion collections by designer Thach Linh.

Designer Thach Linh, representative of the program's Organizing Committee, has sent an official announcement to the audience, hoping to receive sympathy for unexpected problems during the organization process.

The organizers believe that this is a valuable experience for all parties in the art field - from production, performance to content management - to look at and improve, in order to bring more complete cultural products in the future.

Today's audiences not only enjoy music, but also judge it by its sophistication, aesthetic value and respect for the public. Therefore, every artist and organizer must maintain professional standards, not only for the audience, but also for their own reputation and honor.
