City leaders offer incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of National Day

DNO - On the morning of August 31, commemorating the 78th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023), member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang led a delegation of leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to lay wreaths and offer incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at the City Memorial.

Also attending were Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh; Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Ngo Xuan Thang.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegates respectfully observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh ; to commemorate the heroes, martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and those who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, the liberation of the homeland and the country, and the protection of the Fatherland.

Before the souls of heroes and martyrs, the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city vow to continue the tradition of their ancestors, unite as one, strive, overcome all difficulties, compete to excellently complete all tasks, and build Da Nang to become increasingly rich, beautiful, peaceful, civilized and modern.
