On the morning of October 11, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, periodically received citizens in October.
Hai Duong province leaders received 9 citizens and groups of citizens.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tho in Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon) requested the Provincial People's Committee to resolve citizens' complaints related to compensation when reclaiming land to implement the Kinh Mon Thermal Power BOT project.
After listening to the recommendations of Ms. Tho and the reports of departments and localities, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang requested the Provincial People's Committee to assign relevant units to quickly come up with a solution and report before October 30, 2024.
Regarding the opinion of Mr. Nguyen Cong Trac in Thanh Mien town who disagreed with the support and compensation price for site clearance of the Northeast Ring Road of Thanh Mien town, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang requested relevant agencies and the People's Committee of Thanh Mien district to review once again the support and compensation for people in accordance with regulations, to be implemented before October 30, 2024. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that after reviewing, according to regulations, if some households do not comply, it is necessary to carry out enforcement to ensure the project is implemented on schedule, in accordance with the law, contributing to the development of Thanh Mien district and Hai Duong province.
Ms. Hoang Thi Chep in Hung Dao commune (Chi Linh city) proposed to consider land recovery, compensation, and support for site clearance to implement the Dong Viet bridge approach project connecting to National Highway 37. The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the People's Committee of Chi Linh city to coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to review all citizen files to have a written response before October 30, 2024.
Representing 12 citizens in Lien Hong commune (Hai Duong city) requested consideration of compensation and support for site clearance when the state reclaims land to implement the expanded Southern Residential Area Project of Hai Duong city, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with the People's Committee of Hai Duong city to have a solution and report in November 2024.
At the meeting, all contents of reflection, recommendations and denunciations of citizens and citizen groups were requested by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau to be reported to relevant departments, branches and localities for clarification and assigned a specific deadline for resolution.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested that departments, branches, sectors and localities, when receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations, need to explain and respond to citizens in a way that is easy to understand according to the basis and regulations; at the same time, they need to resolve citizens' petitions quickly and thoroughly.
