Currently, Khanh Hoa tourism is growing rapidly but there are not many domestic flights to Khanh Hoa, the airfares for domestic routes to Khanh Hoa are higher than the average compared to other localities. The leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed that Vietnam Airlines support Khanh Hoa to successfully implement a stimulus package combining night flights (already implemented but with very few tickets); have a policy to reduce airfares for domestic flights to Khanh Hoa; increase the frequency of domestic and international flights to Khanh Hoa on existing routes; study and open new routes to Cam Ranh International Airport. The leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also proposed to soon organize a conference to summarize the implementation of the Cooperation Program between Khanh Hoa and Vietnam Airlines for the period 2021 - 2025 and sign a cooperation agreement for the period 2026 - 2030. The representative of Vietnam Airlines suggested that Khanh Hoa promote communication cooperation, upgrade facilities at Cam Ranh International Airport, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Xuan Truong emphasized that the Provincial Party Committee has issued a Resolution on double-digit economic growth for the period 2025 - 2030, in which tourism - services are identified as one of the four pillars of economic development, with the goal of welcoming 20.5 million overnight guests by 2030. Mr. Ho Xuan Truong hopes that Vietnam Airlines will accompany the province to promote local tourism development in the direction of substantive cooperation, with harmony between business and local interests, for the common development of Vietnam tourism.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien requested Vietnam Airlines to study reducing ticket prices, improving the quality of ground services, including upgrading the business lounge at Cam Ranh International Airport... In the long term, the airline needs to study and calculate the development of its fleet to increase flights and expand the domestic and international flight network to Khanh Hoa. Mr. Nguyen Long Bien assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with Vietnam Airlines to develop a summary report on the results of cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Vietnam Airlines in the period of 2021 - 2025 and prepare the content of the cooperation agreement for the period of 2026 - 2030...
