The delegation inspected the construction site of the Kim Bang I Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project; visited and worked with Pepsico Vietnam Food Company Limited (Dong Van I Industrial Park Expansion), Honda Vietnam Company, Ha Nam Branch (Dong Van II Industrial Park); Wistron Infocomm Vietnam Company (Dong Van III Support Industrial Park).
At the meeting, representatives of enterprises reported on the progress and results of project implementation. In general, the projects ensured progress and met the proposed economic and technical indicators.
The construction process is strictly carried out according to the approved design documents and drawings, complying with current regulations and standards. The relevant units also focus on quality acceptance, while ensuring labor safety, environmental sanitation and fire prevention and fighting, preventing any incidents from occurring.
Notably, the new factory of PepsiCo Vietnam Company in Dong Van I Industrial Park Expansion (Plaschem) was completed after only 51 weeks of construction. This is a record for construction time in Vietnam and Asia. This project is expected to be selected to participate in the live TV bridge to celebrate the upcoming 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, thereby highlighting the achievements in Vietnam - US relations and the province's effective investment attraction policy.
However, businesses have also raised a number of difficulties and obstacles in the project implementation process, mainly related to site clearance and the need to ensure a stable power source for production.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son acknowledged and commended the efforts of the enterprises. Regarding the difficulties and proposals of the enterprises, he assigned the responsibility to the relevant departments and branches to focus on resolving them, especially the issue of site clearance at Kim Bang I Industrial Park and Dong Van I Industrial Park expansion, to ensure the best investment environment.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that the province will ensure enough power for production. In addition, businesses also need to proactively register their usage capacity so that the province can have investment plans to avoid production interruptions.
