This difficult problem was solved thanks to the advantage of Lao Bao having National Highway 9 running through it, and Lao Bao International Border Gate connecting with Laos, so the local socio-economic development was favorable. Especially the Service - Trade and Small Industry sectors developed strongly.

From these activities, people in villages, hamlets and neighborhoods in Lao Bao have had steady jobs and stable incomes. The favorable economic trade has had a positive impact on the awareness level of the people. Many backward customs have also been gradually eliminated, including early marriage and incestuous marriage.

Various forms of propaganda such as: staged, established mobile propaganda teams on reducing early marriage and incestuous marriage to propagate in 3 hamlets of Ka Tang, Ka Tup and Khe Da. Coordinated with soldiers of Lao Bao International Border Gate Border Guard Station to distribute leaflets, draw propaganda pictures... to strongly change awareness and behavior on early marriage and incestuous marriage in the community.

According to the report of Huong Hoa district, while many communes in Huong Hoa district have a high rate of child marriage, such as Lia commune with 44.4% of the total number of couples registering for marriage, A Doi commune with 40% of the total number of couples registering for marriage (2022 data). In 2023, this number in Lia commune was 32.4% and A Doi commune was 20%, although it decreased compared to 2022, it is still at a very high level. In Lao Bao, from 2021 to now, there have been no recorded cases of child marriage and incestuous marriage. It can be affirmed that the sad story of child marriage and incestuous marriage in Lao Bao has "closed".
