Lao Cai will organize fireworks displays at two locations to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 51 on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Through activities to widely propagate the historical and revolutionary traditions of the nation; arouse and foster the people's trust and pride in the Party, the State and the cause of national renewal; introduce and promote the land and people of Lao Cai.

Accordingly, Lao Cai province will organize many meaningful commemorative activities such as: Offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, commemorating the heroic martyrs of Lao Cai province; participating in the exhibition of socio -economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the National Exhibition Center, Hanoi, including participating in the exhibition area "Rich province, strong country", reflecting the achievements of socio-economic development over the past 80 years, especially in the period 2021 - 2025, at the same time introducing the cultural identity, advantages, and development potential of Lao Cai; meeting and expressing gratitude to the provincial leaders of all periods, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor during the resistance war, pre-uprising cadres, representatives of families of outstanding meritorious people of the province; groundbreaking and inaugurating key projects and works.

Notably, the province will organize an art program to celebrate the anniversary and fireworks display from 8:00 p.m. on September 2, at 2 locations: 19/8 Square, Provincial Center, Yen Bai Ward and Dinh Le Square, Lao Cai Ward (the art program of fireworks display is funded by social sources). The program is expected to have the participation of more than 4,000 actors, students, union members, youth, people... with many attractive performances. In addition to watching live at the above 2 locations, people can also follow the art program and fireworks display via live television on LCTV channel and social networking platforms.

In addition, the province will also hold exhibitions and displays of documents, artifacts, publications, etc. at the Provincial Museum and Provincial Library with the theme of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, in conjunction with welcoming the Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress; cultural and artistic activities, film screenings, mobile libraries serving the people of all ethnic groups in the province, especially in mountainous, remote and ethnic minority areas; sports tournaments to celebrate the anniversary organized by departments, branches, sectors and localities from now until the end of September.
